Every day from our showroom/warehouse on one of Brisbane`s busiest main roads, we despatch marquees to customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to delivering our instant marquees throughout Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, we have delivered pop up marquees to Far North Qld & the Torres Straight, Alice Springs NT, Mt Tom Price Western Australia, Woomera South Australia & Whakatane NZ and just about every town and city in between. The Stars behind Star Outdoor

Star Outdoor is a family owned business established by Mark and Helen Star, so you know that there are real STARs behind the name! We have owned businesses for the past 25yrs and our guiding principals have always been, integrity, quality and service.

We have grown Star Outdoor to become a leader in the field of leisure and corporate marquees and have continuously developed our range of marquees and accessories, giving us the most diverse range of marquees for sale in Australia and NZ. This has been largely achieved by building a great team of people who are the voices you will hear when you call Star Outdoor.

Julie Gilmartin – Administration Manager
Julie is a central part of the Star Outdoor family and has been with the company for 4 years. Julie looks after many of the administrative tasks including banking, payments, bookings and deliveries. Julie can also help with all your product enquiries.

Paul Hadfield – Internal Sales & Signage Artwork
Paul is Star Outdoor's resident sales and signage expert. Not only can Paul assist with all your product enquiries, he can also produce a mock-up of how your marquee will look with your name and branding on the canopy or walls.

Paul has been with Star Outdoor for 3 years, and can give great advice on the marquee that best suits your needs.

Mitch Carson – Marketing Assistant
Mitch is the newest member of the team, and is responsible for the in house design and production of Star Outdoor's marketing and advertising materials. Mitch can also assist in designing mock-ups of how your marquee will look with signage and colour.

William Poole – Warehouse Manager & Showroom Sales
William joined Star Outdoor straight out of high school and has grown with the company. William oversees the stock movements in and out of the warehouse, as well as organising logistics and assisting with showroom enquiries and demonstrations.

Ronald McDonald House

At Star Outdoor we are proud to supply marquees to McDonalds Restaurants franchisees Australia wide so we make a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities(RMHC) for each marquee purchased.

Star Outdoor presented our first donation cheque to RMHC of $1,875 on the 13th March 2008. Tour de Cure

Gary Bertwistle, a founding member of the Tour de Cure charity cycle ride telephoned Mark to ask if Star Outdoor could help with a special "deal" on 2 pop up marquees for the inaugural charity ride. Once Mark heard about the cycle ride and the effort the riders were putting into raising money for cancer research, he was only too happy to "gift" two sign written marquees for fund raising and also for servicing bikes on the long ride to Sydney

The goal of the Tour de Cure is to raise $2,000,000 for three key charities over 4 years

as Gary explained it, the Tour De Cure supports cancer research that will help Mums, Dads and Kids with Cancer.

So impressed with Star Outdoor two FREE marquee offer Gary asked Mark if he would like to join the team on the inaugural ride from Brisbane to Sydney-1,100km in 9 days of riding. Mark is not one to shirk a challenge & finished the ride raising just on $20,000 for the charity. The 23 riders in total have raised just under $400,000 in the first year 2007. The Star Family are also active members of the Mooloolaba Life Saving Club. Mark & Helen`s two girls are active in Junior Life Saving so Star Outdoor is proud to donate products to provide shade and protection for a new generation of Australians who are actively learning skills that will lead them into becoming highly trained life savers on our beaches.

Star Outdoor has donated two pop up marquees for use at carnivals and events and one 3x3mtr marquee to be used as a first aid tent on the beach every Sunday during summer when Nippers are active.

MB Coaching/Star Outdoor National Women's Cycle Team

Since the Tour de Cure ride, cycling has become a passion for Mark so it was not surprising that when the opportunity came up to be a major supporter of one of Australia's only private women's cycling team, Star Outdoor had to be involved. Star Outdoor is a financial backer of the team and has supplied the team with a branded marquee for use at meets and at training sessions.
